FAQ

The point of online counselling is that you don't have to come to us and that we can find a solution together in a protected digital space. We use online counselling as an extension of conventional psychosocial counselling and want to make it easier and quicker to get in touch.

Online counselling can take the form of email counselling, single chat counselling or group counselling, depending on your preference.

You can send us an email using any email address. This ensures that you remain anonymous if you so wish.

Instant chat
If you need help or information immediately or want to contact us straight away, please try calling us first. If it is not possible for you to contact us by phone, the instant chat solution is suitable. Anonymous enquiries via text chat are made without prior registration.

ATTENTION: it is not possible to use instant chat in languages other than German, English and Romanian! However, depending on the language, this can be organised within a very short time.

Registration module

Generates a personalised account and enables follow-up contacts in a protected environment.

Mail counselling module

Enables secure counselling via web-based mail counselling. Mail enquiries are assigned directly to us.

Appointment booking module

The following functions are available:

- Single chat - In the single chat, you can chat with a counsellor at the same time during an anonymous online consultation. You need to book an appointment in advance for the single chat - there you can see when the chat will start and how much time is reserved for it.

- Group chat - video chat counselling: browser-based video chat for up to 4 participants incl. text chat, report function, share function and screen sharing

A one-off registration is required to use our online counselling services.

An e-mail address can be used for this purpose. However, this is not a must. YOU can also register without providing an e-mail address.

NOTE

If you do not enter an email address, the "Forgot password" function will not be activated. Make a note or memorise your password, otherwise you will not be able to access your account.

When registering, you will be asked to enter a user name and password of your choice.

The following minimum requirements must be observed:

User name: 8 - 12 characters

Password: 8 - 16 characters

This will give you a user account that identifies you as authorised. Only then will you have access to your data and the counselling process.

Even if the online counselling site is in German, you can contact the counsellors in your native language.

The counsellors are fluent in German, English and Romanian. For all other languages, you will need professional translation assistance.
