Declaration on accessibility

IN VIA Katholischer Verband für Mädchen- und Frauensozialarbeit für das Erzbistum Berlin gGmbH endeavors to make its website accessible in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1).

This accessibility statement applies to this website.

Status of compliance with the requirements

This website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA due to the following exceptions.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:

Disproportionate load:

Background images

The background images are integrated via the <style> tag in the element, which technically violates the HTML syntax and thus WCAG 4.1.1. It is not expected that this will have a negative consequence for users of the website, because background images as decorative graphics would have received an empty alt text according to WCAG 1.1.1.

Booking an appointment without logging in

If you book an appointment before you have logged in, the appointment is reserved for a limited time until you have registered or logged in. The user has a limited time to register or log in and this time cannot be extended, which violates WCAG 2.2.1. If you register first and then book an appointment, you bypass this barrier.

Booking an appointment in the calendar view

The calendar view of the appointment booking is not accessible, here the list view can be used as an alternative.

Chat

The instant chat is not accessible

Form fields

According to WCAG 1.3.5, the form fields must offer users suggestions for possible entries, for example suggestions for user names or e-mail addresses. We have decided to offer users greater anonymity by omitting this function in case the PC is shared with other people at home.
